Yule Shoot Your Eye Out - Fall Out Boy
By far the best [Anti-]Christmas song made.
This song gets me through the holidays.
These are your good years
Don’t take my advice
You never wanted the nice boys anyway
And I’m of good cheer
‘Cause I’ve been checking my list
The gifts you’re receiving from me
Will be
One awkward silence
And two hopes you cry yourself to sleep
Staying up, waiting by the phone
And all I want this year is for you to dedicate your last breath to me
Before you bury yourself alive
Don’t come home for Christmas
You’re the last thing I wanna see
Underneath the tree
Merry Christmas, I could care less
Happy New Years, baby
You owe me
The best gift I will ever ask for
Don’t call me up, when the snow comes down
Its the only thing I want this year
One awkward silence
And two hopes you cry yourself to sleep
Staying up, waiting by the phone
And all I want this year is for you to dedicate your last breath to me
Before you bury yourself alive
Don’t come home for Christmas
You’re the last thing I wanna see
Underneath the tree
Merry Christmas, I could care less
Don’t come home for Christmas
You’re the last thing I wanna see
Underneath the tree (Don’t come home for Christmas)
Merry Christmas, I could care less
Don’t come home for Christmas
You’re the last thing I wanna see
Underneath the tree (Don’t come home for Christmas)
Merry Christmas, I could care less

Sweet! They’ve recorded a Christmas song!
They must’ve spent a lot of money on this…
But this one time, this one Christmas I got this-

“While testing the effects of Ammonium hydroxide and timing on small mice, it was discovered that once certain mice have died due to accidental overdoses during the testing, the neurons of the brain were still sending signals to one another. This process continued for up to four hours after the time of heart failure. This study have scientist believing that although the body may not be able to output any signals or information at the time of what we know as death, it may be able to both hear and comprehend any information, including sounds and touch.
This discovery is largely due to the finding that once the heart is unable to pump blood throughout the body, many of the bodies’ organs simply begin to shut down due to lack of oxygen. However the brain is a relatively stable organ and is able to survive much longer than any other organs without oxygen due to the nature of its structure and composition.”

It’s crazy to me to see things like the picture below.
I’ve never had a friend last longer than 4 years, and seeing Patrick and Travis be friends for so long, with how busy they both are and excetra, it just makes me so happy.
So everyones doing this and I decided I should take 5 minutes to type one up myself.
Things I was into this year:
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
Tropic Thunder
10% of the music that came out [ because only 10% of it was actually good. ]

Even before Let the Right One In was released in cinemas, Cloverfield director Matt Reeves had signed to write and direct an English language remake for Overture Films and Hammer Films.[15][28] Hammer Films acquired the remake rights at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival and Overture films plans to release the film in 2009.[28] Alfredson has been reported as saying that he is not happy that the film is being remade, saying that “Remakes should be made of movies that aren’t very good, that gives you the chance to fix whatever has gone wrong” and expressing concern that the end result would be too mainstream.[29][6] Lindqvist, in contrast, is excited that Reeves will be adapting the book from scratch rather than merely copying the original film and that the end result could be quite different.[5]

So stoked!
I heard this was an amazing film. Just was randomly looking at the DIA’s website and found out they were playing Let the Right One In at their theatre!
Thing is, I’m not fond of sub titles all too much, but since Reeves is probably going to be remaking it in English, it makes me so happy. And we all know that Cloverfield ruled, so this remake probably will too.

Dunno where I got my ’50s gene. All I heard when I was growing up was ’80s metal and Barney songs.
